FRAPPE

Apple Frappe

Frappe is special beverage nowadays. A frappé coffee, cold coffee, Greek frappé, or just frappé is a Greek iced coffee drink generally made from spray-dried instant coffee, water, sugar, and milk.

The word is often written frappe. The frappé was invented in 1957 in Thessaloniki through experimentation by Dimitris Vakondios, a Nescafe representative.

This delicious drink is generally made of water, espresso, sugar, milk, ice and is shaken, blended or beaten to combine the ingredients.

At MimaGelato, we serve Frappe with Gelato and fresh milk. They are very good for your health.

A menu to make you smile

Pure : Seven Gelato start with raw organic imported milk from Europe and Italian ingridents for all products . Then we add the world’s greatest flavours – gently roasted pistachios from Sicily, organic IGP hazelnuts from Piedmont, rare vanilla from the Sava region of Madagascar, cocoa and chocolate from Akkenson’s award-winning plantations in Italy – and naturally, raspberries and strawberries from our very own British fields.

Natural : Each delicious mouthful is handmade using simply natural ingredients and traditional Italian techniques. The only thing we add is creativity and love.

Fresh : All the gelatos and sorbets in our boutiques are handmade fresh each day by our gelatios – gelato chefs. They are served to you at a gelato-perfect minus 12 degrees, so they’re impeccably soft with no brain freeze!

Flavors: The original fior di latte is a plain, base ice cream with no flavor and no eggs added. Stracciatella is fior di latte gelato with chocolate chunks. Traditional flavors of gelato include crema ('custard'), vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, almond, and pistachio. Modern flavors include a variety of fruit flavors and also new, unexpected flavors such as extra virgin olive oil or basil.
